Soft Food Idea – Breakfast for Dinner

The few days after you get your braces put on, or after an appointmetn with your orthodontist can leave teeth and gums sore. Eating soft foods is a good idea so you don’t feel so much pain.

Even when your mouth is feeling good, you know you should avoid super crunch foods while you have braces.

But having smoothies, soup, and pudding for every meal can get old. Luckily, there are lots of other soft-food options if you think outside the box.

Try, for example, breakfast for dinner! Many traditional breakfast foods are very soft – perfect for those with sore teeth. Consider this menu:

  • Pancakes
  • Soft scrambled eggs (you can also put cheese in them!)
  • Soft fruits like grapes, cut-up pears, or oranges
  • Oatmeal with cinnamon
  • Soft toast

What are your favorite breakfast foods? They might be a great choice next time your mouth is feeling sore. Plus, there’s always something fun about having breakfast for dinner.
