Invisalign

Clear Aligners For Virtually Invisible Treatment

Invisalign is a popular treatment option for many of our Cypress, Texas patients, and for good reason! Dr. Dave and the team at True Image Orthodontics are proud to be a trusted provider for orthodontic needs for all ages in the Cypress and Tomball areas. We strive to stay on the forefront of treatment technology, and Invisalign is just one of our many options for care.

Will Invisalign Work For Me?

Patients choose the Invisalign system for a number of reasons, but only Dr. Dave can determine whether you are a candidate for treatment. At your first appointment, Dr. Dave will examin your teeth and jaw, and discuss your specific needs. In most situations Invisalign can give you the smile you want without the need for traditional braces or other appliances, but certain situations still require alternatives.

What Are The Benefits Of The Invisalign System?

The most obvious aspect that makes Invisalign so attractive is its virtually invisable appearance. Most people will not know you are undergoing treatment unless you tell them, which is important for patients who wish to keep up a professional appearance or perhaps have an important event and don't want their braces to be a visible.

Another reason patients love the Invisalign system is their ability to remove the trays to eat and brush. This means that many foods are no longer off limits, and brushing and flossing may be easier.

How Does Invisalign Work?

Invisalign consists of several "trays" that are worn for two weeks at a time. Each new tray moves your teeth slightly closer to their ideal position until the final tray where your smile is complete!

Trays must be worn for 22 hours per day, but can be removed to eat, drink, brush, or floss. Typically between 18 and 30 trays are used for treatment, depending on severity.

Dr. Dave will create a sophisticated 3D model of your mouth which the Invisalign lab will use to created your personalized set of trays. Because of the gradual movement of your teeth, Invisalign is not painful, and patients often report minimal discomfort during treatment.
